There are many recreational opportunities in and around our community as well. Residents can enjoy stock
car races every Friday night from May to October at the Boone County Raceway located on the Boone County Fairgrounds.
One can also enjoy a movie Friday through Sunday at the Gateway Theatre,
with indoor seating for 250. If golfing is your preference, Albion Country Club is a
private 9-hole grass green golf course complete with clubhouse and pro shop. The Boone County Fitness Center, located in the heart of Albion, offers many recreational and fitness activities. The Albion Parks and Public Swimming Pool provide hours of fun for the whole family. The Boone County Museum and nearby Olson Nature Preserve are also two unique places to visit!
